From modern, gleaming architecture to native hand- made crafts, from art museums to local cultural festivals, it's all here.
Lastly, don't forget that the state is replete with fresh-water lakes and has an oceanfront that stretches the whole east side of the Gulf of Mexico. Sunbathing, beach activities, fun for the kids, watersports, excursions, and boating lessons are all obtainable somewhere alongside the Texas coastline. From Galveston to Corpus Christi, the beaches are pristine and prepared to welcome visitors.
