Sightseeing in Houston
There are so many things to enjoy in Houston, and it is located right next to the Gulf of Mexico. Because of this there are many different cultures who make a home in Houston. You get a little glimpse of the Southwest when you visit Texas because it combines the best of both cultures. You should make sure that when you go there you check out Bayou Place, located in downtown. This is one of Houston's most popular locations with over 100,000 square feet of complex that has many different types of theaters, eateries, and many forms of entertainment. If you check out the Galleria Mall you won't be let down. It is one of the biggest malls located all through Texas, and home to upscale shopping experiences.
Make sure to check out the Johnson Space Center where you can enter the zero gravity environment. This is a wonderful place for both adults and children, and is home to many different educational displays and exhibits. Another good place to visit if you have the children with you, and even if you don't, is the Houston Zoo. Here you will find many different sorts of animals both exotic and native of Texas. The Houston zoo has been voted number 74 visitors out of all the zoos in the United States. The best part at the Houston zoo is they allow you to feed a lion cub.
I was a little afraid when I first heard this because I thought it would raise some concerns for safety, but apparently they do this there and I don't think they do it anywhere else. Houston is the fourth most populous city located in the US. It's a great place to book a business trip, and has great weather, so make sure you come to Houston on your next trip.
