Dallas-Fort Worth and Shopping Fun
If you love to shop, and you're anywhere near the Dallas-Fort Worth area (DFW), you are in for a exciting treat. The DFW area offers dozens of malls and shopping destinations to choose from, each completely different from the other. And of all those choices, a few great places stand out that we must share with you.
If you're in Dallas proper, you absolutely must hit the Galleria. One of the fanciest malls in the country. It is by far DFW's flagship, and attracts the rich and famous, including several celebrity names you're sure to know. If glitz isn't your thing, but you still love a unique shopping experience, shop at Town East Mall and Stonebriar Centre, two of Dallas' other fantastic shopping experiences. Both have their own charm and reasons why you'll enjoy the experience.
Across the way in Fort Worth, are more retail locations that are "must sees" for visitors and shoppers alike. Southlake Town Square is not a traditional closed-in mall, but fantastic none-the-less. It is reminiscent of the town centers of yesteryear. The two more traditional malls in Fort Worth are Grapevine Mills and The Parks at Arlington, but they have their own amazing flares as well. Grapevine Mills seems to have every type of merchandise in the world available somewhere within its boundaries, while The Parks is just plain big.
There are tons of things to see and do in the DFW area, but if you're a shopaholic, this may be Mecca.
