Your eight day Nicaragua getaway begins at Hacienda Del Puerto Cielo - Hike the lodges 60 acre private reserve. Centrally located, Hacienda Del Puerto Cielo is near the Arts and Crafts centers of Masaya and Catarina and a short driving distance to Granada. After relaxng and enjoying the local markets, your journey continues to Jicaro Island. We will drive through Granada and have lunch on the way to board your short boat ride to Jicaro Island. Spend 5 days enjoying optional tours and the lodge's fine cuisine.

Departs anytime - Can be reversed in order. Jicaro Island requires a 30 minute boat ride to reach the lodge.
At Jicaro you stay in your own little house, a “casita”. The nine casitas on the island all have lake views and are within a short walk from the pool, restaurant, and wellness center. The casitas are two stories, with a private bedroom and a king size bed on the second floor; and on the first floor, a spacious living area that connects to an outside deck overlooking the lake. The casitas and the furniture are made locally from Rainforest Alliance certified wood. Each casita is equipped with mosquito netting and ceiling fans, and the large doors and windows can all be opened for cross ventilation. Most notably, the oversized hammock and comfy furniture of the deck will invite you to relax and feel the peace of this magical lake. Many of our guests have commented how they have enjoyed the peace and tranquility after spending a day in Granada and how glad they were to stay at Jicaro instead of downtown Granada
