Trip Overview:
This tour features all the adventures from our base lodge - Hacienda Puerta del Cielo. Meals are included while at the Hacienda - Enjoy beautiful views of Volcano Masaya from the lodge. After the first few days of exploring the local culture and volcanoes, we continue onto Punta Teonoste Beach Lodge to enjoy its remote and wild beaches. Enjoy surfing, hiking and the local turtle nesting grounds. We complete our journey with one night in the beautiful colonial city of Granada.

Volcano Masaya National Park & Masaya market:
This is the only volcano in the western hemisphere where one can drive directly to the rim. Upon reaching the summit you will disembark and have an opportunity to explore the National Park and climb the 174 steps to the summit. Upon arrival at the Mercado Antiguo de Masaya, (Old Masaya Market), you will be free to stroll at your leisure through this restored 19th century open-air artisan’s market. (L)

Half day zip lining adventure, after zip lining we will visit Catarina’s Mirador and Arts and Crafts Market (a small little town at the top of a mountain with a beautiful lookout), where you will be able to stroll at your leisure and enjoy a true Nicaraguan lunch! (L)

Day 1:
Arrive Nicaragua
Your trip begins today in Managua, Nicaragua. Arrive in Managua by 3:00 p.m. We meet at the airport and take a private transfer to Hacienda Del Cielo Lodge. After checking into the hotel in we have a brief group orientation before enjoying a welcome dinner showcasing Nicaragua’s fresh produce. Driving: 1 hour. Dinner included.

Day 2-5:
Explore Hacienda Puerta del Cielo Private Reserve
After breakfast at the hotel, take time to explore the surrounding oasis of the lodge. Each day, the Hacienda guide will discuss each days selected adventure. Enjoy your afternoon on each days chosen adventure and return to the lodge for an awesome dinner. Overnight Hacienda Puerto De Cielo (B,D) See Additional Trip notes for Daily Adventures. Day 5: Depart early for Punta Teonoste Beach Lodge.

DAY 5-7:
Transfer to Punta Teonoste Beaches
Explore the private and secluded beaches surrounding Punta Teonoste. The lodge offers a beautiful open-air bathroom featuring tropical gardens allowing for the a unique beachfront eco experience. The beaches of this area are private and uncrowded for the perfect couple getaway. Choose form a list of daily tours and activities or free time to enjoy the beaches. Daily shuttle to/from San Juan Del Sur/ Overnight (Breakfast Included)

Day 7-8:
Punta Teonoste beach Lodge - Granada
Depart Punta Teonoste Beach Lodge for the city of Granada - about a 3 hour drive. We arrive at Hotel la Bocona and you have the free day to roam and explore the city of Granada. Overnight Loa Bocona Hotel. (B)
