Day 1:
Nairobi - Sambaru Game Reserve
Pick up from your city hotel and depart north towards the Central Highlands which is considered to be the bread basket of Kenya. We will make a brief stop at the Equator and continue to Samburu Game Reserve to arrive at the lodge for lunch. The camp is located on the banks of River Ewaso Nyiro which meanders through this beautifully scenic Reserve, where the Camp Manager eagerly awaits your arrival. Rugged and remote, this wildlife Reserve provides some of the best and most colourful game viewing in the country. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the camp followed by a late afternoon game viewing drive. Return to the Camp at sunset.

Day 2:
Samburu Game Reserve
Full day in Samburu Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game viewing drives, in search of game found only north of the equator such as long necked Gerenuk, Gravy Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the blue shacked Somali Ostrich. The Ewaso Nyiro River dotted with doum palms, acacia and giant fig trees meanders through the reserve giving it an oasis setting and attracts a myriad of birds and wildlife.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Visit to a Samburu Manyatta to see how the tribe lives in this harsh surrounding.

Day 3:
Mount Kenya National Park
After a sumptuous breakfast drive north through the rich agricultural and hilly mosaic of small farms, pineapple and coffee plantations to Mount Kenya National Park, arrive in time for lunch at your preferred choice of accommodation with the rest of the day at leisure relaxing by the fireplace or watch the animals from the balcony overlooking the well-lit waterhole and saltlick as they come to drink water or take their daily diet of salt hopefully spotting animals like the Elephants, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Gazelles, Warthogs and others. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4:
Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast depart for lake Nakuru National Park with a brief stop over at the Thompson's Falls named after Joseph Thompson who was the first European to walk from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the early 1880's. Proceed to Lake Nakuru, famous as home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino and the elusive leopard. Arrive in time for lunch at your preferred choice of accommodation and some leisure time, later in the afternoon head out for game viewing drive in search of both the black and white rhino, the endangered Rothschild Giraffe (Twiga), the elusive leopard as well as a host of other plains game and with a chance to visit the shores of the lake where you may walk with millions of flamingos. Return for dinner and overnight. All Meals Included
Day 5:
Masai Mara Game Reserve
AMKA! Wake Up! After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where your may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your preferred choice of accommodation. Afternoon proceed on an exciting game-viewing drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6:
Masai mara Game Reserve
Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in search of the 'big five'. Masai Mara is the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife Game Reserves. It is home to the awesome black-manned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffes, vast bulk of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other plains game. Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Balloon Safari over the Mara plains followed by a champagne breakfast or visit a traditional Masai Manyatta (off the beaten track) and experience the culture of this world famous community. The Masai still live as they did for centuries -interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions. All Meals Included
Day 7:
Masai Mara - Nairobi
Amka! Wake up early with coffee/tea and head off on your last trail of the African savannah – hopefully, you’ll see some big game. Return to Camp for breakfast. All good experiences must come to an end and sadly you must say Kwaheri to your wonderful Camp Manager and his team as you depart as you depart for Nairobi.
