Intrepid also have an ultimate packing list on their web site – for all tours so not all may be may be relevant. Essentials: good walking boots, cool clothing for days, something warm for evenings, sun hat sunscreen and insect repellent. Have a small day pack for water and camera during the day. 7.40 am ~ Upon arrival in Sydney clear customs and immigration and meet your driver from Hughes Chauffeur Cars who will be waiting in the arrivals hall under the Limousine Meeting Point, with a sign bearing your name. He will transfer you to your hotel in the Rocks area, close to wharf and Opera House. If you have any problem locating your driver, please call 1 300 30 66 44 for assistance.
Your room will be pre-registered for immediate check in.

1.00 pm ~ make your own way to the Sydney Tower Eye and SKYWALK
1.30 pm ~ arrive and check in for your Skywalk. Please ensure you have your voucher with you

Depart for Uluru Outback
7.25 am ~ This morning catch your Sunbus Sydney shuttle to the airport for your flight to Uluru.
9.45 am ~ Flight QF 728 to Ayers Rock (own arrangements)
12.50 pm ~ Upon arriving in Uluru, collect your luggage and board the coach shuttle to your accommodation.

On check, in please reconfirm your Sounds of Silence dinner for this evening and pick up time will be advised.

In the late afternoon, join the “Sounds of Silence” tour including dinner. Drive to a sand dune where you will have a 360 degree view of the landscape. Transfers included to/from hotel.

Uluru Base Walk Kata Tjuta Outback

6.15 am ~ you will be picked up from your accommodation by SEIT Outback Australia Tours for your Uluru base walk. Come and join your guide on a trek around the base of Uluru as you explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia. Your guide will meet you at the entrance to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort. On completion of your journey your guide will then return to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort (approx. 12.15 pm). Enjoy a quick lunch/rest break before your afternoon tour.

1.00 pm ~ You will be picked up from your accommodation by SEIT Outback Australia Tours for your visit to Kata Tjuta. You will travel to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to a place where unique flora and fauna thrive,
Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Here your guide will reveal the many attributes of this diverse environment and describe the cultural significance of Kata Tjuta as a sacred Aboriginal men’s ceremonial site. On completion of your journey your guide will then return to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort (approx. 4.30 pm).

On Country Day Tour
9.30 am ~ You will be collected from your accommodation by Pudakul Aboriginal Cultural Tours.
Today’s tour is an opportunity to engage with local aboriginal people, learn basket and dilly bag weaving and the techniques used in the process. Have a go at throwing a spear or blowing a didjeridoo, play the clapsticks and learn about their local food and bush medicine remedies. On this tour you will be our guest on their country. Come with them and see how they gather and collect the materials to make their bush tools, you're welcome to join in and assist with the gathering of the bush tools. They will make a spear, strip some fibers, cook a damper, cook a kangaroo tail and a Barramundi. This is a great cultural engagement experience from which you will get an insight into aboriginal traditions and lifestyle.

Kakadu - Intrepid Camping Adventure

Set off from Darwin bright and early on this journey into the heart of the Kakadu wilderness. Discover how this breathtaking Australian landscape helps maintain Indigenous tradition and culture.
Stop off at Ubirr Rock to view colorful Aboriginal art. Marvel at the spectacular setting of this ancient gallery, which is home to paintings that are more than 20,000 years old. Each painting is a page in the history books of this timeless country. Learn more about the local inhabitants of this vast land on a cultural tour with the Murdudjurl people. Spend an unforgettable evening as privileged guests of the Murdudjurl. Enjoy dinner around the campfire before falling asleep under the seemingly endless starry Kakadu sky. Camping Adventure Continued
Rising early, head to Twin Falls by 4x4 and pass through some of the Top End's most remote terrain. This is an area of incredible natural beauty - the rock pools and surrounds are magnificent year round and well worth the journey. Board a boat for a short ride through a spectacular gorge before arriving at the base of the falls.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on a secluded stretch of the river. Then hike through steamy rainforest to the crystal clear waters of Jim Jim Falls, the park's most iconic sight. While swimming is allowed here, be sure to keep a lookout for the freshwater crocodiles who call these waters home. Return to the Murdudjurl camp for another night. All Meals Included

Camping Adventure Continued
Cruise the Yellow Water Billabong, looking out for the big saltwater crocodiles that patrol the area. Also keep your eyes peeled for exotic birds and the fabled bunyip, rumored to lurk in Top End billabongs! Cool off in a true-blue outback swimming hole at Barramundi Gorge or visit Nourlangie Rock. Soak up the scenic beauty of Australia before hitting the Arnhem Highway and travelling back to the Darwin. Once back in the Top End's capital, why not stay on for further explorations? Perhaps head to the Territory Wildlife Park to learn more about some of the native animals seen on this trip, join a city walk to see some of Darwin's historically significant sites or simply watch the sun set on this Australian adventure. Bama Way Tour

3 day Bama Way tour.
Today, your journey of discovery begins as you travel north along one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives to Cooya Beach to join Kubirri Warra brothers on one of their beach, mudflat and mangrove walks. Linc and Brandon Walker, of Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tours follow the traditions of their ancestors who, for thousands of years, educated visitors about their traditional country in order to ensure the survival of their Kuku Yalanji culture. Today the brothers teach their guests how to throw a spear, hunt whilst stalking and observing wildlife and country, and how to track coastal resources. And they share some of their extensive knowledge of this special area and how they care for their country. Enjoy fresh, homemade damper, tea and coffee, before continuing along the Daintree Coast where we continue north to the Daintree Village, for a 1 hour river cruise on the mighty Daintree River. Have a picnic lunch on the shores of the river before we visit the spectacular Niau Falls on Tranquility on the Daintree - a secluded 450acre private property. The Niau falls are a pristine natural wonder waiting for you to discover. You will see strange, primitive plants and learn about the original French settler family. Hear of their incredible story of survival. Your guided walk will unlock the secrets of this fascinating eco-system. Time for a swim in this magical rainforest environment, (don’t forget your swimmers).
We depart the falls and travel to Cape Tribulation, crossing the mighty Daintree River by cable ferry, arriving at your overnight accommodation. Spend the night in the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park of Cape Tribulation. Lunch and dinner on tour today.

A leisurely breakfast and walk along Cape Tribulation Beach before we continue on The Bama Way through the heart of the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park. Travel today is on the 4wd only Bloomfield Track, where we will cross rivers and mountain ranges. Arriving at Wujal Wujal we visit the Bloomfield Falls in the company of traditional custodians from the Walker Family, who share some of their knowledge about this special and sacred place. We travel to Helenvale, where we have lunch at the famous Lions Den Hotel, a famous Aussie bush pub established in 1875. After lunch visit Black Mountains, a unique geological oddity, surrounded in mystery and spoken of in ancient Aboriginal legend. Arriving in Cooktown have your camera ready with 360 degree panoramic views from Grassy Hill of Cooktown, the Coral Sea and the Endeavour. Overnight Cooktown and enjoy dinner with your travel companions this evening. Lunch and dinner included on tour today.

Rainbow Serpent Tour - Cairns
This morning, enjoy breakfast at Cooks Landing by the wharf.
You are then collected by Nugal-warra Elder, Willie Gordon of Guurrbi Tours. Willie, the traditional story-teller of the Nugal-warra clan, takes you to the Nugal rock art sites, set in stunning countryside high in the hills above Hope Vale, 40 minutes from Cooktown. You’ll visit six sites, including the Reconciliation Cave and an ancestral Birthing Site, where Willie shares the stories behind the art – stories which can only be told by Elders of the Nugal clan - and explains how the paintings speak of the essence of life and the lores of his people. Return to Cooktown for a delightful lunch at the Nature Powerhouse Museum. This afternoon we depart Cooktown following the backbone of Australia's Great Dividing Range, through the spectacular scenery of Far North Queensland's Outback. Your tour of amazing discovery comes to a close as you are transferred back to your accommodation in Cairns. Lunch included on tour.
